The Alaska Wilderness Recreation & Tourism Association (AWRTA) has been the voice of Alaska ecotourism for over two decades. AWRTA is the only membership-based, nonprofit organization in Alaska representing the interests of wilderness-dependent tourism businesses committed to environmental protection and sustainability. As a membership-driven organization, AWRTA relies on the continued support of caring, responsible Alaska tourism businesses and visitors to remain active in statewide tourism, marketing, and conservation issues.
